Iran has targeted US naval units in the Strait of Hormuz after the attempt to intercept an Iranian oil tanker by US forces.

The United States hit an Iranian oil tanker this evening. In response, Iran has targeted a U.S. military vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. forces tried to strike at multiple points to neutralize two Iranian naval units, but met with an immediate and intense Iranian response.

US forces opened fire on an Iranian oil tanker; the Revolutionary Guards Navy responded by hiring US naval units. Positions hit in Qeshm and Bandar Abbas.
