Uganda
There are occasional Ebola outbreaks in Uganda. On 27 August 2026, the World Health Organisation declared the Uganda Ebola outbreak over. The outbreak in neighbouring DRC continues and the risk of transmission into Uganda remains. Government of Uganda is continuing to implement precautions to reduce this risk, particularly in response to reported Ebola cases in the region among individuals who transited Uganda. You may experience screening and other precautionary measures at entry points, including Entebbe Airport. See the Ministry of Health’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for more details.
